Our Education Director
Phyllis Lamrock-Ifill, B.A., M.Ed.

Phyllis Lamrock-Ifill is an educator with 33 years experience as a teacher, vice-principal and principal with the public board of education in the Ottawa area.

Her Master's program in education, included courses in the principles of adult education. She has worked closely with the Teacher Education faculty at the University of Ottawa, offering workshops, teaching a basic qualifications course to practicing teachers and mentoring becoming teachers.

Phyllis designed, organized and was the program leader for a successful leadership course for educators over a five year period. She was a curriculum leader for the board of education, and has developed the English curriculum for On Your Mark Learning Centre.

Phyllis is responsible for the supervision and in-service training of the staff at On Your Mark, and continues to develop and maintain English programs.

Our Images Consultant
Annette McConnell

Annette McConnell has a rich background in marketing. She has a three year diploma in fashion merchandising and is a certified colour analyst.

Annette has an extensive retail background including men's wear, women's wear, accessories and lingerie. As area manager in the hair styling industry she was responsible for training and development in the Toronto area.

The last five years Annette has served as the marketing director for On Your Mark Learning Centre. She is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the importance of personal images

Our Centre Supervisor
Judy Steven, B.A.

Judy completed her degree in psychology at the University of Western Ontario where she took her teacher training at Althouse College. She also completed several courses in social work at the master's level, at Carleton University.

Her work experience covers a broad range of business related roles, including computer programming, business administration and commercial leasing. She has developed both the organizational skills and interpersonal skills required to effectively manage the operational issues of staffing, scheduling and client communication.

Our Centre Director
Marc Quinet, B.A.,(hons)

Marc is the owner and the Centre Director of the On Your Mark/Notez bien Learning Centre éducatif. Marc completed his honours degree in politics at Queen's university. His experience as a sales representative for National Book Service of Canada led him to the position of territory manager for World Book Canada, a world class publisher of educational materials. Marc's teaching experience includes that of instructor at Heritage College and that of a civilian instructor for the Canadian Armed Forces.

Both Marc's commitment to educational issues and his own bilingualism supported his vision to provide a quality learning centre, offering both French and English programs to a full range of students. This led to his opening the "On Your Mark/Notez bien Learning Centre éducatif" in March 2000.
